Owner - chef Peter De Clercq of restaurant Elckerlijc really knows how to grill. He even earned the title "World Champion BBQ 2003" with the Belgian team.
In Elckerlijc restaurant they serve more than 20 different types of beef from butcher Hendrik Dierendonck in Sint Idesbald and from Van Landschoot in Adegem. Each piece is matured between two and eight weeks to obtain a perfect taste and texture. Grilled above oak, beech or wood chips of Gueuze or bourbon barrels, the meat gets a added value.
Peter is much more than just a cook He is passionate about products and manufacturing procedures and therefore goes beyond purchasing. Today he serves own grown vegetables, fruits, herbs, chickens, pigs and lambs and uses exceptional techniques for the preparations.
Open: every dag except for Tuesday and Wednesday.
